We will remain transparent about exposures in effected classes. Informing you as soon as possible. It will then be up to the parent to keep students home or send them back to class. Virtual classes will no longer be offered. Make-up classes can be scheduled with the office within the month.
Masks are highly recommended, especially in times of high case counts. We ask that Parents continue to inform us of any positive cases right away and keep sick or symptomatic students home regardless of test status.
Our goal remains to keep our students and families safe and providing a stable artistic outlet and training facility. Please contact us at mariaverdejadance@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What happens if a student gets sick?
A: Parents are advised to assess health and keep sick children home. We are relying on parents for transparency and require that you notify us should any student test positive for COVID-19 or come in contact with anyone testing positive. We notify all students in an effected class of potential exposure. All students in an effected class will have to present a negative to return to classes. We believe this year Rapid Tests & Home Test Kits will allow us to get back to class quicker.
Q: Could we pay monthly to see how things go?
A: Yes! We are implementing monthly payments studio wide.
Q: What Happens under another shutdown - will you cancel classes?
A: Schedules remain the same - all classes will transition to ZOOM. Your In person class costs will be discounted in the event of a city or statewide shutdown of over two weeks. Opt Out options will once again be made available and refunds will be given for classes paid prior to closure. Please be aware, if you choose to opt out we can not secure your spot upon reopening. Accounts will be credited and payment can be applied towards any future payments through the end of the school year at MVSA.
We believe staying active is key to staying healthy. We continue to monitor the situation as it develops and will follow local government health officials, implementing any new directives from those officials swiftly. We thank you for your patience & understanding as we navigate the changing circumstances.
