FACILITIES

MIAMI STUDIO: The Falls
Our Flagship location is located across from the Falls with 7 large studio spaces, our own Cafe, Reception & Waiting Area, Large Bathrooms, Locker Rooms, Homework Spaces and Drive Thru Lane to make Pick up and Drop off a breeze.

KEY BISCAYNE STUDIO: KBCC
Our program is housed in the friendly + charming Key Biscayne community center with 3 Studio Spaces and dedicated MVSA staff. KBCC Members can take advantage of the Gym, Cafe and Jungle Gym on the first floor before and after class.

DRESS CODE & UNIFORMS 
At MVSA, we are firm believers that when we look our best, we perform our best. Dressing the part is a powerful tool.

Hair must always be neatly slicked back in a bun for all classes. No jewelry is to be worn during any classes or performances.

Private Lessons for All Students
An Excellent Supplemental Training Tool

Private lessons are available to all students, offering a valuable and effective training tool. These personalized sessions, tailored to individual needs and goals, are designed to supplement students' regular coursework and enhance their learning experience. Lessons are available based on instructor and studio availability.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY
We provide every student with the opportunity to perform in a full production on a professional stage, in our annual End of the Year Performance. An experience that delights both parents and students.

We offer options for everyone, from classes that meet once a week to dedicated competitive teams in all dance forms.

FAMILY
Our devoted team of Directors, Teachers & Staff are the heart of MVSA. Much of our staff has been in place for upwards of 15 years. Our studios are like a second home for us as well as our dancers.

LEGACY

MVSA has been committed to excellence in dance training for almost 40 years. Over the decades more than 10,000 students have passed through its doors. Some of its many successful students have gone onto professional careers in the arts and broadcasting as well as brining their creativity into the careers of the future. The Maria Verdeja School of the Arts employs a staff of top quality teachers in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, Musical Theater and Voice in two south Florida communities: Key Biscayne and Miami. MVSA Teams, made up of our top performers, represent us in the competitive circuit and receive performance opportunities across the community.

Our competitive teams bring home National Titles, First Place Wins, Top Scores and Special Awards across all dance forms, levels and ages. We believe every dancer deserves an opportunity to shine. Our teams are grouped by: Age, levels, style and studio location to facilitate rehearsals. For example we have our Prima Team dedicated to ballet & classical styles and a Musical Theatre/Voice Team.

TEAM REQUIREMENTS:

• 2  hours of Ballet per week minimum
